We celebrated the Queen's Jubilee in style. We started by giving all of the missionaries the following invitation, rolled as a scroll and tied with a ribbon.
Our service project was cleaning up the sides of the roads going from the MTC property down and around the two large round-a-bounts. There are few trash bins here in England, so a lot ends up on the roadside.
The three Chorley Wards held a combined Garden Party, one of the 10,000 celebrating the Jubilee around Britain. It included games, food and fun. Here the missionaries challenged the ward winners to tug-of-war and won.

The dining room was decorated for the grand event. And Sis. Walker and I made the "lovely" flower hats for the sisters. No respectable lady would go to an English party without one. A day to remember.
