Dennis and Linda Brimhall came last night for a quick visit on their way to Scotland. He is here working with the Family History Program. Our main connection however, is that we share grandchildren. Their Daughter, Angela is married to our oldest son Chris and they have four darling children (of course). We took in a temple sess

ion this morning and this afternoon took them on a tour of the Church History sites around Preston, Downham and Chatburn. Here we are standing on the bridge over the River Ribble where the first two desiring baptism raced across. George D. Watts won. 15 were baptized on that first day, July 30, 1837, amazing since Heber C. Kimball, Orson Hyde and others only arrived on July 20th!
As you can see, it was windy today, but not too cold with blue skies and sun.
We all relished being in casual clothes for a change.
