We have Devotionals on Wednesday Evenings here at the MTC. Often it is a devotional DVD from the Provo MTC. Once a cycle we are fortunate enough to hear from one of our Area Seventies.
This Wednesday, Elder and Sister Donaldson from Nothern Wales drove over and gave excellent talks on humility and the role of a missionary.
We stood in place for the Walkers who are out of town.
I will just note that one of our favorite Devotionals is Elder Bednar's "Is It The Spirit of Just Me." MTC Devotionals are not available to the general church but Pres. Packer gave a message at BYU I entitled the " 20 Mark Note" which says basically the same thing. "Move forward keeping the commandments, honoring your covenant, being a good boy and a good girls and the Lord won't let you go astray." In essence if we are moving forward, doing our best and living the gospel we will bless our lives and others as well.
