Wedgwood and Royal Dalton

With the one day we had off between groups,  we went with our friends, Maureen and Walt Hales, Area Medical Advisors to The Potteries.  This is an area of England that had good clay and many pottery factories in the past.  Today there are fewer factories, but we did go to the Wedgwood Factory and Museum.
We especially enjoyed the factory tour and watching the artisan/craftsmen working on the products.  Wedgwood now owns Royal Dalton  and several other porcelein companies.  For a mere 180 pounds this artist would paint a Royal Dalton figurine to my specifications and send it to America - $350.  I had to pass.
