Maureen and Walt Hales, the Area Medical Advisors will be going home the end of September. We spent the day on the Liverpool-Leeds Canal with them and the Loynes Family.
It was fairly warm, 60 degrees. I know my sense of summer temperatures has been ruined....and it didn't rain until the last hour. Some of us just sat outside under umbrellas and enjoyed the adventure.
The boats can only go 4 MPH so it is just a leisure trip and a good chance to visit and relax. I think I said it before, it is a lot like drifting through a picture or possible Storybook Land in Disneyland.
Lancashire is the county we live in. The famous red rose of the Dukes of Lancaster.
